These 100% Pure Lambswool Throws/Blankets are one of our best selling products. Soft and warm, they have many uses. Wonderful as a bedspread or blanket, extremely practical and decorative.

Woven in North Tipperary by John Hanly & Co., they were originally part of an indigenous cottage industry which sprang up during the latter half of the 19th Century on the hillside overlooking the eastern shores of Lough Derg.  The weaving tradition is still carried on today by the Hanly family who have been operating from Ballyartella Woollen Mills since 1893.

They are available in many beautiful designs and colours reminiscent of the local countryside.
