This Pocket Shawl / Wrap displays Irish knitting patterns and stitches from the fisherman culture of the Aran Islands. The cable pattern indicates the  fisherman’s ropes.  The “Tree of Life” pattern running along the placket is a symbol of the various stages of life. The pockets can double as gloves to keep the fingers warm.  This is a perfect compliment to any outfit, either for casual day wear or for more dressy evening occasions. Made from 100% finest Merino Wool.
